This past weekend saw not only the 2004 NorCal Series opener at the Gold Pan Open, but it was the Southern California Amatuer Disc Golf Championships down at La Mirada and El Dorado. A group of  5 Advanced Men, 1 Advanced Master and 3 Intermediate players ventured down south to see how they stack up against our SoCal counterparts.

Rob Byers both emerged victorious in their respective divisions.
Other notable results in the Advanced Men division was James "Chris" Wood’s
9th place finish and right behind him in 10th was Paul Sanchez..
In the Intermediate division, Steve Ganz took 5th and hit his first
tournament ace on hole 10 at La Mirada’s Lakeside Course.

Another outstanding NorCal Series has come to a close. Thank you to all the players who came out and gave it their all each and every tournament.

As is customary, there are a few players who will be bumped, or promoted as some call it. This is for NorCal Series events only. Away we go…
